My Favorite (mostly) White Paint Colors
One of my most FAQ: "What color are your walls?"
If I could do it all over, I'd do it differently, but let me share my favorite paint colors with you - some that are in my home and others that belong to my incredibly talented friends. I'll also share what I would have done differently! Let's get started.
Most of my house is SW Alabaster. Alabaster is a gorgeous warm white, however, in the absence of a lot of natural light, I think it does lean a little cream. I think Alabaster is absolutely gorgeous on an exterior (we color matched to Alabaster on our exterior, too! Technically, it is PPG Gypsum!).
All of our trim is SW Extra White, including shiplap, unless otherwise stated. I actually love the brightness of this color on the walls!
In the photo below of our master bedroom where the shiplap meets the wall, the brightness of SW Extra White really highlights the creaminess of SW Alabaster in a darker corner. If using Alabaster on the walls, I recommend using Alabaster also on the trim in a different sheen or cutting it to 75% or 50%.

Claire's nursery is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, and it is my absolute favorite. My friend Tiffany @growingupgowler also used this in her home as illustrated below. If I could go back, I'd do my entire house this color - it is the perfect bright white without being too stark.
Our Dining Room is painted Benjamin Moore Pale Oak above the wainscoting and Sherwin Williams Extra White on the trim. Pale Oak is the perfect "greige" color and not too brown.

Finally, my friend Emily @theporcheplace painted the interior of her home SW Heron Plume (her trim is also Heron Plume, cut to 75%). It is also another great warm white option that I don't see used often enough! It is versatile and can be both warm and bright. Look how gorgeous!

Happy Painting, hope this helps! xo,
Casey
